My 4-year-old absolutely loves these flashcards! The illustrations are beautiful and the dual-side learning is brilliant. Quality is genuinely premium — much better than what we've seen elsewhere. Highly recommend to parents.

Product information
Wooden horizontal-dial toy with 3 same-colour green discs, Kidken's Montessori-toddler material that isolates wrist rotation from colour distraction for Indian children aged 3+. Because all discs are the same green, the challenge is the sliding motion and 3-finger grip, not sorting. A gentle progression step between vertical stackers and later pre-writing work.
At a glance
- Wooden horizontal dial base + 3 green wooden discs.
- Same colour: motor practice isolated.
- Horizontal slide: different wrist rotation from vertical stackers.
- 3-finger grip (pencil-hold prep).
- Non-toxic paint on solid wood.
- Handcrafted in India by Kidken.
How it compares to a vertical ring stacker
| Kidken Horizontal Dial Discs | Vertical ring stacker | |
|---|---|---|
| Direction | Horizontal slide | Vertical stack |
| Grip | 3-finger (writing prep) | Whole-hand grasp |
| Colour cue | None (all green) | Multi-colour usually |
| Focus | Motion + grip isolated | Size + colour + stack |
| Fit in sequence | After vertical stackers | Toddler first-stacker |
Why curated by SkilloToys
Once a toddler masters vertical stacking, a horizontal-dial variation refreshes the challenge and shifts wrist work in the direction later needed for handwriting. Kidken's single-colour green discs on a wooden dial keep the material Montessori-clean: one variable, one skill, no distractions.
Horizontal wrist rotation (writing prep), 3-finger grip, hand-eye coordination, non-vertical stacking cognition, and focus on a single-variable task (motion isolated because colour is uniform).
