Lay out 3 cards on a flat surface.

Look at the stroke guide. Note the starting point.

Trace the letter with two fingers (index and middle). Follow the guide.

Say the letter sound aloud as you trace.

Let your child trace. Follow your finger, then on their own.

Pair with paper writing on a Kannada-ruled notebook.

Sort cards back in swara/vyanjana order.
Start with swara (vowels). 3 vowels at a time. Trace, name, repeat.
Add vyanjana (consonants). First 5 consonants: ka, kha, ga, gha, nga.
Show the stroke guide. Note where each letter starts.
Demonstrate tracing. Index and middle fingers. Correct direction. Say the sound aloud.
Let your child trace. Same fingers, same direction.
Move to paper. Once tracing is comfortable, give a Kannada-ruled notebook.
