My 4-year-old absolutely loves these flashcards! The illustrations are beautiful and the dual-side learning is brilliant. Quality is genuinely premium — much better than what we've seen elsewhere. Highly recommend to parents.

Why curated by SkilloToys
We pick the Splash and Read Bath Book because it brings books into the one place most babies already enjoy. Waterproof, soft and simple to rinse, it makes bath time calmer and more interesting. Always supervise children in and around water.

- Cause and Effect
- Visual Attention and Focus
- Vocabulary Building
These are opportunities to practise during play, not guaranteed developmental outcomes. Always supervise your child.
1
Check it first. Look over the book for tears or damage. Do not use it if anything is damaged.
2
Get bath time ready. Stay within arm's reach of your child at all times.
3
Dip the book. Dip the book in the water and let your child explore the colours and textures.
4
Read together. Point to the pictures and name what you see.
5
Follow your child's cues. Stop when they lose interest.
6
Dry it properly. Rinse after use, gently squeeze out water, wipe and air-dry. Do not use hot water or dryers.
Around 6–12 months: dip the book in the water and let your baby look at the colours and feel the textures.
Around 12–24 months: point to pictures, name what you see and splash the book gently together.
Around 2–3 years: ask questions about the pictures and tell a short bath-time story.
Make it a routine: use the same book at bath time to signal a calm part of the day.
Keep sessions short: a few relaxed minutes is plenty. Stop when your child loses interest.
Dry it well: rinse, squeeze out water, wipe and air-dry after every use. No hot water or dryers.
